Keith Schellenberg in the "Monza" Lister Jaguar breaks Tony Lanfranchi's hill record in 49.79s. This Lister was built for Ecurie Ecosse as a single seater for the Race of Two Worlds at Monza in 1958 where driven by Jack Fairman it finished in 11th place. It has now been fully restored and is driven by Rod Jolley in Historic events.

Phil Chapman in his Chapman Mercury III posted a time of 54.75s. this car took part in the 40th anniversary meeting - it and its owner still going strong!

Harry Ratcliffe better known for his Morris Minors sets his MG 1100 at Quarry bend.

Facilities were primitive in the early days and here we see Mike Wilson, C of C, and other committee members re erecting the Gents toilet after they had blown down whilst Mike Kellett directs those in need to the spot.
